Spain Highfield Resources receives authorisation for potash process plant on non-urbanised land

Spanish fertilizer firm Highfield Resources announced it has received authorisation from the Government of Navarra to build on non-urbanised land the process plant for its Muga Potash project.

Highfield said the process plant will be built within the municipality area of Sanguesa and that this approval follows the granting of the construction licence for the mine-gate and declines as well as the electricity line from the main network to the Muga mine.

Although Sanguesa still needs to finalise the granting of the process plant construction licence, the company said getting clearance from the government was a pivotal milestone.
